Learn why, after decades of researching nutrition and holistic health, I began exploring phototherapy technology, what caught my attention, and why I ultimately chose to share this particular technology.
After decades of researching nutrition, supplements, and holistic health, I’ve learned to keep an open mind.
I’m always curious about new ideas, new research, and new approaches that may help support the body’s own natural processes.
But being open-minded doesn’t mean accepting everything I come across.
I’m also discerning.
Before I consider incorporating something into my own life, sharing it with my family, or introducing it into my work, I want to understand it.
I want to know how it works.
I want to understand the science behind it.
I want to look at the research.
I want to learn about the company and the people behind it.
And whenever appropriate, I want to experience it for myself.
That’s exactly the approach I took when I first became interested in phototherapy technology.
It Started With a Question
After years of working with nutrition, supplements, and holistic approaches, I began thinking more deeply about the different ways we can support the body’s natural processes.
Nutrition is foundational.
I believe in providing the body with high-quality nutrients and supporting the digestive system and overall health as part of a comprehensive approach.
But I also know that not everyone is able to digest, absorb, and utilize nutrients in the same way. Assisting the body’s natural processes in multiple ways is important.
Digestive function and gut integrity can play an important role in how well the body is able to access and utilize nutrients from food and supplements.
This is something I have seen frequently in the individuals and families I work with.
So I began asking myself:
Are there other ways to support the body’s natural processes that don’t rely on digestion and absorption?
That question opened my mind to exploring different types of health technologies.
What Caught My Attention
What caught my attention about phototherapy technology was that it wasn’t another capsule, powder, or liquid.
It was a non-invasive technology based on a completely different delivery approach.
That immediately made me curious.
I wanted to understand how something like this was designed to work.
What was the science behind it?
How did the technology interact with the body?
What research was available?
And could something that didn’t rely on the digestive system offer another option for people who may have difficulty absorbing and utilizing nutrients?
These were the questions that made me want to learn more.
How I First Came Across It
I didn’t discover this technology because I was searching for the next product to add to my life or my work.
A friend of mine, who is a nurse practitioner, introduced me to it.
She spoke very highly of the technology and shared her own experiences with me.
Because I respect her background and her perspective, I decided I wanted to look into it more closely.
But I didn’t simply take her word for it.
I wanted to do my own research.
I wanted to understand what I was looking at before I made any decisions.
I Wanted to Understand the Science
As I began exploring the technology, I started asking the same kinds of questions I ask whenever I’m evaluating something new.
How is it designed to work?
What is the science behind it?
What research has been done?
What is known about the technology?
What is still being studied?
How is it different from a supplement?
What makes the delivery method unique?
Who is behind the company?
How is the technology developed and manufactured?
Is it practical and easy to use?
These questions mattered to me.
I wasn’t looking for a quick answer.
I wanted to understand the bigger picture.
I Also Wanted to Experience It for Myself
Research is important.
Science is important.
Being holistic is important to me.
But I also believe that firsthand experience matters.
When I find something that I believe is worth exploring, I want to experience it personally whenever appropriate.
So I began using the technology myself.
I also shared it with members of my family.
I wanted to experience what it was like to incorporate it into everyday life.
Was it easy to use?
Was it practical?
How did it fit into my routine?
What did I notice?
How did I feel?
What was my personal experience over time?
Those questions couldn’t be answered by simply reading a research paper.
They required personal experience.
And that experience became an important part of my decision-making process.
I Didn’t Want to Jump on the Latest Trend
I’ve been in holistic health for decades.
Over the years, I’ve seen countless products and trends come and go.
Some are genuinely interesting.
Some are worth exploring.
And some simply don’t live up to the excitement surrounding them.
That’s why I don’t automatically embrace something just because it’s new, popular, or innovative.
I want to understand it.
I want to research it.
I want to question it.
And when appropriate, I want to experience it for myself.
I can’t even count how many valuable tools I might have missed if I hadn’t been open to exploring them further and experiencing them for myself.
That’s why I believe the best approach is to be open-minded and discerning at the same time.
You don’t have to believe everything.
But you also don’t want to automatically dismiss something simply because it’s unfamiliar.
Sometimes, the most interesting discoveries happen when you’re willing to say:
“This is interesting. Let me learn more.”
What Impressed Me
As I continued learning about the technology and experiencing it personally, several things stood out to me.
First, I appreciated the fact that it offered a completely different approach from traditional supplementation.
Second, I appreciated how non-invasive and simple it was to incorporate into everyday life.
Third, I was interested in the technology itself and the science behind the way it was designed to work. It also works systemically helping the entire body and its various systems, rather than just one.
And finally, my own experience over time made me want to continue learning.
I’ve now had over a year of personal experience using this technology, and I’ve also had the opportunity to share it with many other people.
My personal experience, and that of my family has been an important part of why I continued to explore it and why I became interested in sharing what I had learned with others.
I believe that personal experience should never replace research or scientific evidence.
But I also believe it can be an important part of understanding how something fits into real life.
Why I Decided to Learn Even More
At this point, my curiosity had turned into something more.
I wasn’t simply interested in the technology itself.
I was interested in understanding the bigger picture.
Could this be a meaningful tool to add to the many other foundational approaches I already value?
Could it offer a different way of supporting the body’s natural processes?
Could its non-invasive delivery method make it practical for everyday use?
Could it complement the other healthy habits and approaches people are already using?
These were the questions I continued to explore.
And the more I learned, the more I wanted to make the information available to others who might also be curious.
The Technology I Was Exploring
The technology I had been researching and personally experiencing was LifeWave’s phototherapy patch technology, particularly the X39 patch.
At this point, I want to be clear that I don’t expect you to simply take my word for it.
If you’re curious about this technology, I believe you should have access to the information you need to explore it for yourself and make your own informed decision.
That’s why I’ve created a dedicated resource specifically for this technology.
At thrivingwithpatches.com, you’ll find a video explaining the technology and how it is designed to work, information about the science behind it, links to research and scientific resources, and more about my personal experience over more than a year of using the technology—and why that experience ultimately influenced my decision to share it with others.
I’ve created this resource so you can take the time to explore the information and understand the technology in greater depth.
My goal is to give you the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and make an informed decision for yourself and your family—not simply to tell you what to think.
If you’re curious, I invite you to visit thrivingwithpatches.com, where I’ve gathered the information, research, and resources you need to learn more about the technology.
